Goody of AskGoody joins us to talk about how to comfortably ride D. We talk about best positions, overcoming endurance and stamina issues, and other great tips to make it fun and to maximize pleasurable for both partners.
And what does it mean to ride dick?
Riding dick can mean different things. Sometimes people just get on top and do this little scoot like you’re scooting a chair up. Media tells us that riding dick is just bouncing on the dick all the time. And honestly it’s those things and a multitude of other things. So, what I tell people to remember is that you are caressing your partner’s dick or dildo with your body. In my workshop, rideology, I teach people how to ride dick with their vagina, their anus, or to caress two vulvas together, because I want to put the power in the partner on top. I don’t care what you’re doing on top. But the goal is to get up there with confidence, control and stamina.
People often hate it because they don’t have confidence. They don’t know what they’re doing when they’re up there. They don’t know what they look like, what do you do with their hands, all that stuff. They don’t feel like they have control. Maybe not being able to control how much dick you get in or not. If it keeps falling out. It’s longer than you’re used to or thicker than you’re used to, you don’t have any control.
And then there’s stamina. You get up there and maybe you get about two or three good circles and then your back starts hurting, your check engine light comes on, your knees start popping – 60 seconds in sex time is like five minutes. So, you think he was up there for a long time and you literally put in a hot 20 seconds, because you can’t get up there and stay up there. Stamina is a big reason why people don’t like riding dick.
How do you increase your stamina and endurance to be able to ride longer?
A lot of people think they have to do cardio when building their endurance. But, the key to stamina, for being on top, is to be in a position where your body is comfortable. A lot of times people get on top and they’re holding all their body weight in their knees or they’re holding all their body weight in their carriage. They’re not actually up there comfortably, and it’s harder to stay up when you’re uncomfortable.
So the key to being up there longer is to find where your body’s comfortably situated and ride that thing out. I use science to explain pleasure because people know it feels good, but they don’t really know why. And there is confidence that comes when you have that technical instruction and you understand why. And so, with simple machines and clients, flat planes, weight distribution, all of that comes into play with the comfort, which increases and improves the stamina.
When I created rideology I took into consideration range of motion, impact on the knees and back, the size of the people having the sex, which hole or holes they’re using for the sex, and the size of the penis and or dildo in question. So, maximizing the pleasure position for a person that’s riding a dildo, depending on what kind of dildo though, is different than riding dick with their ass versus riding dick with their vagina.
I teach Rideology online and in person where I teach 13 different positions: five base positions with variations on them. And so the first position I teach is for the person on the bottom. I call it the chair; basically the key to stamina is comfort. And when you are the person on the bottom, if you’re laying on your back, put your feet flat on the floor or bed with your knees up. Having your knees up allows the tops of your thighs to create a little backrest for the person on top. You don’t have to have your knees up at a 90 degree angle, they just need to be up a little bit. Because that little slight lift in the upper thigh shifts the hips forward of the person on top, which redistributes their weight so it’s not on your knees but actually on your partner. But they don’t feel it because their knees are up.
How do you address the penis not staying in when you’re riding dick?
If the penis is falling out it’s because you’re not in the right position for the dick you’re riding. The challenge is figuring out what position is going to work best for the penis that you have. A lot of the positions I teach are for all penises. Some are better for bigger penises. Some are better for smaller penises, but they’re all good for all penises. Also, some of these positions are better for people with bigger bellies, or pregnant people.
One of the skills I teach is when we’re doing stretches at the beginning of the workshop. We go through a few letters of the alphabet, and one of them is a j. If you have a larger partner, a larger penis, bigger dick, make a bigger J with your bodily movement. If you’re riding a smaller dick, make a smaller j. It helps you keep that range of motion in a way that’s going to connect to the dick you’re riding.
When it comes to riding dick, do you recommend any tools or accessories that are available?
There are a lot of products available. However, I don’t recommend everything that’s out there.
The first thing I suggest to people to help make riding dick more fun and more enjoyable is pillows. For the person on the bottom, you can put a pillow under their hips to lift the hips up, which basically presents the dick or dildo more effectively. If you don’t have pillows, ball up a blanket or a jacket or something and put it under the hips of the person that you’re riding on.
I also suggest using a wand. With a wand, when you get on top, you can hold the end of it, so then no matter if you have a bigger body or whatever, you don’t have to try to reach all the way down to your genitals. You can hold the end of the wand and put it on the clit. You could put it on the penis, you can reach around and put it on the balls of the dick that you’re riding. So this is a very versatile accessory.
Also recommended is the frisky finger. It’s a wireless, waterproof, and rechargeable bullet with a textured silicone sleeve, and it has a finger strap so you don’t have to worry about juggling genitals and the sex toy. You can use it on the vulva and if you’re riding you can use it on your clit. If you’re riding with your anus and you have a penis, you can use it on your penis while you are riding dick with your ass. It’s a great addition to oral sex.
Lastly and most importantly, you should be using lubricant. I don’t care if you are Miss Aquafina 2023. You should be using lubricant regardless. A little dime size amount is all you need. If you’re using sex toys that vibrate specifically, you need to use lubricant anyway because it helps reduce desensitization. But it also creates a smoother ride between you and whoever or whatever you’re using the toy on.
